POETRY CORNER AND RANDOM MUSINGS

THE POWER OF CUDDLE!

This little poem, as short as may be, will never fully convey,
The power of such a small simple thing that can brighten anyone’s day.
4 kinds of magic, 4 kinds of affection which summon a wonder so pure,
it can make people weep, people laugh, people shine with a smile as it warms to the core.

First is the squidge, a great little gift to bestow upon those unaware,
You can sneak from behind, put your hands by their sides and squeeze just to show you are there.
When meeting with friends use instead of a handshake, a squidge to convey your delight,
In saying hello and later goodbye as a “thanks for a brilliant night”.

Next comes the Hug, a power so strong that to say it moves mountains is true.
When you feel all alone, seeds of hope will be sown by this kindness bestowed unto you.
Place your arms round them tightly and pull them in close, till the tears and the sadness subside,
Their hope will grow strong, knowing they’ve found with you, their heart they can truly confide.

The cuddle you’ll find is a marvellous thing with more uses than I can explain,
Whether used on the couch, on the floor, in a bed, the end results always the same.
A feeling so good that if we had the time it could go on all day and all night,
Start a cuddle when all is all cosy and dark till you wake in the suns morning light.

Now comes the Embrace, a favourite of lovers and has been for aeons of time,
A loving caress in a moment of bliss, when body and soul lay entwined.
The world standing still as your cares fall away and all life seems to shine in their eyes.
Pure heaven on earth is a loving embrace which no heart in this life can deny

THE GAME
Too often we play the game of love,
For a prize that's never certain,
Too many dwell in unyielding darkness,
Till the fall of life’s great curtain.

For some paths lie in matrimony,
Where the illusion of safety lingers,
The passions die as the sands of time,
Slip slowly through their fingers.

With loneliness, the heart cries out,
For warmth and adoration,
But the vision fades to memory,
As we settle in frustration.
For once great hopes that shone so clear,
Have fallen prey to doubt,
That what we held so dear within,
We shall forever be without.

but within the tangled web of life,
a spark of truth remains,
That leads us to abandon rules,
Set for us by our pain.
A chance, a whim, a single act,
Can open up fates door,
A change that reignites the flame,
And allows the soul to soar.

For love is not a destination,
Or an ending set in place,
But a forever changing wonder,
that is never caught, but chased.
Belief is all, that inner strength,
to stand above the crowd,
To reject all of the false ideals,
That lesser loves allowed.

The game of love, if left to fear,
Of us it will make fools...
Never settle for less than the true will of your heart, And with that, we make the rules

WISHFUL THINKING

As I lay down in naked slumber
This stifling eve, bereft of thunder
I pray atop these sheets of cotton
That mozzi's won't bite my exposed bottom

THE FORGOTTEN

For those who suffer in silence,

For they in the night lie alone

For those who walk in the shadows

For they who now fear the unknown

All the stories that are never spoken

All the heartaches that dwell deep inside

We all shoulder the burden, for in this it is certain

That all bear the scars beneath pride

THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Buttocks all peachy that like to be bitten

Lady parts smooth like a velvety mitten

Boobies like melons, such joy do they bring

These are a few of my favourite things

A FORGOTTEN SUMMER

Lay me down beneath the leaves
A sky of glinting evergreen
that dances with the whispered words
A lovers comfort in the wind

The hours fly, i drift on high
My thoughts beyond this mortal coil
I dream your touch, your sweet caress
the gentle warmth of summers kiss

So take me to that hallowed place
That sanctum of your hearts embrace
And heal the wounds that pain me still
Cast free from me cruel winters chill

NEGOTIABLE AFFECTION

When asked what I'd do for one hundred pounds,
The answer was simple and rather profound,
"for that gentle sum I would gift you a kiss,
so soft and so tender you'd shiver in bliss.

For the price of a thousand id then up the ante,
And fondle your naughties in the butler’s pantry,
If you double the price I would turn up the heat,
And rip off your garter with only my teeth.

should you rise to the sum of ten thousand today,
I would pleasure you in every heavenly way,
From the darkening hour to the coming of dawn,
We will love on the bed, up the wall, on the lawn,
In the cellar, the larder, and then by the fire,
our bodies clasped naked in carnal desire.

If you offer me more, then preparation is needed,
For the next week or so this warning must be heeded,
Drink plenty of fluids, one must be hydrated,
And stock up the pantry so your hungers abated,
For 14 days you'll walk the edge of a knife..
as your buggered to within an inch of your life
